Every Mega Millions drawing collected by LotteryDataHub is recorded with its draw date, five main numbers and one Mega Ball. Each recorded drawing is counted exactly once toward the totals shown on this page.
The five main numbers are counted separately from the Mega Ball, because they are drawn from two different number pools. A number's frequency is the count of how many times it has appeared divided by the number of applicable historical draws, expressed as a percentage.
Mega Millions has changed its number pools and game format more than once since 2016, so the historical ranges used on this page reflect the full span of numbers actually observed in the recorded drawings, rather than assuming today's rules applied to every drawing on record.
As new Mega Millions drawings are collected, they are added to the underlying data and every statistic on this page is recalculated automatically, so a newly published drawing is reflected here without the page being rebuilt by hand.
